With guitar, cajon drum, balalaika double bass, accordion and clarinet, "CHANSON TROTTOIR" plays a mix of their own music plus French classics from the artists Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Aznavour and Georges Brassens - performed in a unique and refreshing style. Their first EP, „Le Pauvre Chien“, has released and will be available in August 2017.
The Cologne Band began purely as a street band in the neighborhoods of Cologne (also in Berlin, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Zurich, Lausanne, Montpellier…) but nowadays can be seen performing at many noteworthy concerts and Festivals. With over 70 concerts in 2017, "CHANSON TROTTOIR" enjoys thriving recognition and appreciation throughout the region. The audience voted "CHANSON TROTTOIR" one of the five top performers of the festival" at the Buskers Festival in Braunschweig, August 2017
